EP 169 A – Daily Preparation Meditation (Explanation)
This episode continues from last week’s and is split into two parts. The first part (this one) is an explanation, and the second part will be the exercise itself, which I hope you find very useful.
#AdvancedQualityPrograms #TheQualityGuy #Priming
Last week, we talked about priming, which is how our mind prepares us to achieve or not achieve our goals.
This meditation exercise will help you program your mind to focus on your goals. I learned it from Tony Robbins and Joe Dispenza, and it’s based on neuro-linguistic programming. This technique helps us focus on what we want to achieve and remember what is important to us.
How to follow the exercise:
At the beginning of the day, before you look at your phone, listen to the radio, or do anything else, find a place where you can be alone for about 10 minutes. Put on your headphones, close your eyes, and follow the instructions in the video or podcast below, which is the second part of this episode.
How does it work?
It’s a simple exercise that prepares your mind in three phases:
Gratitude: Start by being grateful for what you have, what you experience, and what you will have. Just be thankful that you are here, and remember three things you have experienced.
Share gratitude: Share this good feeling with the people who are important to you and be grateful that they are in your life.
Focus on the objectives: Finally, the third and most important part of the exercise. Focus on the things you want to achieve, preparing your mind for the solution, and creating the mindset that it has already happened.
Why does it work?
It’s simple: by persuading our mind and being grateful for what we have before starting the day, we tame the animal in us to focus on what is important instead of what is urgent. I hope you enjoy it and find success!
